Team trip to Chengdu China

1. Activity Overview

  In order to enhance team cohesion and improve communication and collaboration among employees, the company organized a 6-day Chengdu team-building activity from June 26^th,2024 to July 1^st,2024. The theme of this activity was "Teamwork, Relaxation, and Exploration of Chengdu Culture". Team members participated in a variety of activities and had a fulfilling and enjoyable time.

2. On the first day 

  We took a flight from Shanghai Pudong Airport and arrived at Chengdu Shuangliu Airport at 3:15 pm. An hour's drive later, we arrived at Meiqin Kuixing Hotel. After a 10-minute rest, we went to the Taolin Restaurant in Kuixinglou Food Street for dinner. 

  There were spicy chicken, braised fish, fresh pepper rabbit, Maoxuewang, twice-cooked pork, garlic pork, tomato beef brisket, stir-fried seasonal vegetables, and ice jelly. 

  In short, the dishes in this restaurant taste very good, especially the special fresh pepper rabbit. Many diners praised it and thought the rabbit meat was very tender. The restaurant environment is clean and tidy, the atmosphere is lively and has the style of old Chengdu. The service attitude is warm and thoughtful, the serving speed is fast, and the dishes are cost-effective.

  After dinner, we went to visit Kuanzhai Alley. It is an ancient street composed of Kuanxiangzi, Zhaixiangzi and Jingxiangzi. It is one of the larger ancient streets of the Qing Dynasty left in Chengdu. This is not only one of the three major historical and cultural city protection blocks in Chengdu, but also a national AA-level tourist attraction. 

  Here you can find all kinds of quaint teahouses, and feel the leisure and comfort of tea tasting. Of course, this is also a gathering place for food. From authentic Sichuan snacks to exquisite Sichuan cuisine, everything is available. In addition to tea tasting and food, Kuanzhai Alley is also a good place for taking photos. The buildings, streets, and alleys here are full of inspiration for taking photos. You can wear cheongsam or Hanfu, stroll in the ancient alleys, and leave beautiful moments.

3. On the second day

  On the morning of the second day, we came to the Chengdu Research Base of Giant Panda Breeding (referred to as the "Panda Base"), which is located in the northern part of Chengdu City. It is a comprehensive institution integrating giant panda protection, research, education and tourism. The base not only has cute giant pandas, but also rare animals such as red pandas and black-necked cranes, providing tourists with an opportunity to observe and understand these precious animals up close.

  In the afternoon, we came to Sanxingdui, a mysterious place, like a letter sealed by time, waiting for us to interpret. It is located in Guanghan City, Sichuan Province, and is one of the largest and most important prehistoric cultural sites discovered in China so far. The once prosperous culture, unique art and profound history there are all intoxicating.

  Among the ruins of Sanxingdui, the most eye-catching must be those unique bronzes. Bronze masks, bronze sacred trees, bronze utensils, etc., the delicate patterns and exquisite craftsmanship all show the wisdom and aesthetic pursuit of the ancients. When observing these bronzes up close, it seems that you can feel the breath of the ancients and be shocked by the art they created. In addition to bronzes, Sanxingdui also left many mysterious jades. These smooth and crystal jades exude a magical breath. : The moment you touch them, it seems that you can feel the thoughts of the ancients and be infected by their pursuit of beauty.

Sanxingdui is a treasure of Chinese culture and the crystallization of the wisdom of the ancients. Its charm not only pokes our historical complex, but also makes us think more deeply about the cherishment and protection of cultural heritage. Let us walk into Sanxingdui together, feel the charm of history, and inherit the treasures of Chinese civilization.

4. On the third day

  In the morning,we came to Du Fu Thatched Cottage, which is located at No. 37 Qinghua Road, Qingyang District, Chengdu City, Sichuan Province. It is the former residence of Du Fu, a great poet of the Tang Dynasty in China, when he lived in Chengdu. This is not only Du Fu's residence, but also an important source of his creative inspiration. He wrote many popular poems here, showing his outstanding talent and deep emotions.

  In the thatched cottage, you can have an in-depth understanding of Du Fu's life and poetry creation process. The thatched cottage displays Du Fu's statue and life story exhibition, showing his poetry achievements and personality charm. In addition, the thatched cottage also has a collection of more than 30,000 volumes of various materials, which is an important database for studying Du Fu and his era.

  In addition to the rich cultural connotations, the natural landscape of Du Fu Thatched Cottage is also unique. The garden is shaded by green trees, the fragrance of flowers is overflowing, and the scenery varies in different seasons. You can enjoy the charm and beauty of traditional Chinese gardens while strolling in the garden. The ingenious combination of elements such as pools, rockery, small bridges and flowing water in the thatched cottage forms a beautiful ink painting-like scenery that makes people linger.

  If you come to Chengdu, you must not miss this place full of poetry and charm. In Dupu Thatched Cottage, you can appreciate the charm of Tang Dynasty culture, feel the power of poetry, relax in the beautiful natural scenery, and enjoy an unforgettable travel time.

  After lunch we took the high-speed rail to the next attraction, Jiuzhaigou.

5. On the fourth day

  On the fourth day, we came to Jiuzhaigou located in Sichuan Province, China, is a natural wonder known as the "fairy tale world". It has the clearest lakes, the most spectacular waterfalls and the richest biodiversity in the world, which is a precious gift from nature to mankind. The theme of Jiuzhaigou lies in its unique natural scenery and geological wonders, as well as the Tibetan culture that coexists harmoniously with them.

  Jiuzhaigou's name comes from the nine Tibetan villages in the scenic area. The lakes, waterfalls, forests and Tibetan villages in the valley together form a beautiful picture. The water here is the soul of Jiuzhaigou. The springs melted from the snow-capped mountains flow through the forests and grasslands, forming many lakes and waterfalls, each with its own unique beauty. The lake water is clear and the color ranges from blue, green to orange, like a gem inlaid in the forest, flashing an alluring light.

  Jiuzhaigou is a masterpiece of nature, and its beauty transcends the description of language and words. Everyone who comes here will be impressed by its beauty and attracted by its magic. Jiuzhaigou, this natural miracle, will always leave a deep mark in our hearts.

6. On the fifth day

  On the fifth day, we came to Huanglong Five Color Pool, located in Songpan County, Sichuan Province, China, is a breathtaking natural wonder. This lake is famous for its unique colors and magnificent scenery. When the sun shines on Huanglong Five Color Pool, the lake water presents a variety of colors, as beautiful as a work of art. The color of the lake water ranges from dark blue to light green, from orange to pink, and each color exudes a charming glow. These color changes are due to the action of different minerals and microorganisms at the bottom of the lake, forming a unique ecosystem.

  The mountains surrounding Huanglong Five Color Pool are surrounded by clouds and mist, giving people a mysterious and tranquil feeling. The lake reflects the blue sky, white clouds and the outline of the mountains, as if in a fairyland. The flowers, plants and trees on the lakeside are also colorful, which contrasts with the lake water and forms a beautiful picture. Huanglong Five Color Pool is a place that makes people feel relaxed and happy. It not only brings people visual enjoyment, but also makes people feel the power and beauty of nature. Whether you are admiring the changing colors of the lake or exploring the ecological environment of the lakeside, you will be reluctant to leave. When you come here, you will feel like you are in a fairy tale world and feel the wonders of nature.

7. On the sixth day

We left Chengdu by high-speed train at 6 am

①Improved team cohesion

Through collaborative games and traveling together, the team members' tacit understanding, trust and sense of collaboration have been significantly enhanced.

② Cultural and food gains

This event not only allowed everyone to deeply experience the unique cultural atmosphere of Chengdu, but also allowed people to enjoy the ultimate experience of taste buds.

③Release stress and rejuvenate

The six-day event allowed everyone to stay away from the busy work environment, relax their body and mind, and face challenges with more energy after returning to work.

9.Summary

  This Chengdu team-building activity ended successfully with laughter and joy. Through this activity, team members not only gained pleasant memories, but also enhanced friendship and strengthened the sense of cooperation. In the future, we look forward to more similar team-building activities to inject vitality into the team and create a more brilliant future together!
